- New mini-game - Fishing: Sable can now catch fish in the sands of Midden by using a fishing rod
- New location - Angler Hut: An Angler has arrived in Sansee just outside of the Ewer canyon, where Sable’s journey first started
- New location - Vivarium: In The Wash you will now find the Vivarium and a Researcher who needs help completing their collection of fish and butterflies
- New mask - Angler Mask: If you help the Angler with their tasks, Sable can earn a new mask to wear

Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue that stopped camera movement during cutscenes
- Fixed an issue that would cause water ripple effects to follow Sable outside of water
- Fixed an issue that would cause the audio to stutter when several sounds triggered simultaneously.
- Fixed an issue that would cause the game to become unresponsive when changing resolutions on Steam Deck.
- Adjusted the “Honorary Chum” achievement description to closer match the actual requirement.
- Fixed some missing textures and floating objects

Patch 3.5.12 (1 December 2021)
Hi everyone,
We're here with a new patch for Sable that'll fix some of those pesky bugs and introduce performance updates.
Performance
- Added a custom culling system to improve performance and frame rate across the game.
Settings
- Slightly increased colour contrast for higher visibility by default. You can make further colour adjustments in the Display tab in the Settings menu.
Gameplay
- Restored the Shade of Eccria symbol hints in Eccria. You should now find it easier to locate the item Maz told Sable about…
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue that causes Sable's masks to unequip when the player reloads the save.
- Fixed several issues where certain sound effects would get stuck in an infinite loop.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Dunboyne puzzle to softlock after reloading a save game.
- Fixed an issue that would cause Sable to get stuck inside the Palm Forest shipwreck after reloading a save game.
- Fixed an issue that allowed the player to multiply objects through the merchant screen.
- Fixed an issue that would cause the money tracker to remain on screen indefinitely.
- Reduced the area where the lightning effects from the Crystal Plateau can be seen.
- Improved the physics of the pistons that launch Sable into the air in the puzzle ships.
- Additional fixes to objects, collisions, and textures in the game world.

Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where some players were unable to choose color palettes in the bike customization menu.
- Fixed an issue where Sable could enter Atomic Heart and get stuck inside.
- Fixed an issue where players could break the sequence of the quest ‘Heartbreak in the City’, resulting in Sable losing movement.
- Fixed an issue where the skybox would flicker at dusk and dawn.
- Fixes to NPC AI. Players should no longer encounter flying beetles and goats while traveling.

- Added visual accessibility settings: FOV slider, line weight, high-visibility colour mode
- Added display quality settings: draw distance, shadow detail
- Players using mouse and keyboard can now press Ctrl to make Sable walk.
