- Tutorial now continues from where the player left off if the game quits during the tutorial

As we near the two-week anniversary of Aquamarine's release, the game continues to be updated regularly. This latest patch is another big one, with a bunch of important bug fixes and some even more important changes to resource balance and mechanics. Check out the main points below:
v1.0.6 Patch Notes
- Fixed a bug causing an upgrade item to spawn in the wrong place
- Fixed a bug causing some tiles in the final area to become unusable
- Fixed a bug causing softlocks in the final area when certain environment effects appeared
- Fixed a bug causing an upgrade ability to incorrectly highlight objects out of range
- Fixed a bug causing an environmental puzzle to not spawn properly
- Fixed a bug causing some environmental puzzles to not open properly
- Fixed a bug causing certain upgrade items to be uncollectable

Small bug fixes & new content in latest update
Here's one more patch before the weekend, and it's another small batch of updates. Mostly bug fixes, plus some added content to help with understanding some major mechanics of the game. Notes below.

- Fixed a bug causing softlocks when a creature kills another creature
- Fixed a bug causing multiple spawns of an upgrade item
- Fixed a bug stopping some tutorial messages from minimizing
- Added new content for gem clusters, they can now be scanned to gather data points
- Slightly raised the amounts of energy collected with each gem, which scales according to difficulty
- Fixed various small errors and visual issues

More fixes, features, and balance updates
Another day, another update for Aquamarine!
This batch of fixes and gameplay tweaks isn't quite as big as our previous update, but that's a good thing. We're running out of major issues to solve! What that means for players is we're able to turn our attention towards adding features and calibrating resource & difficulty balance. We think you'll dig what's in this latest version.
v1.0.4 Patch Notes
- Fixed a bug causing softlocks after quitting in the middle of the tutorial
- Fixed a bug effecting audio capabilities on Linux
- Fixed a bug causing the inventory to overload and become unusable
- Fixed a bug causing the garden flower to sometimes disappear
- Fixed a bug causing incorrect sprites to appear on some corpses
- Added an option to change resolution/window size
- Altered gem mechanics according to difficulty, each gem now provides more energy on lower difficulties
- Added the ability to check pod's fuel & hull amounts by clicking it on the island
- Items are no longer permanently removed when washed away by the current
- Updated a handful of visual elements

Aquamarine v1.0.3 Now Live! - Jan 25th 2022
Bug fixes, balance updates, and mechanics tweaks in latest update
After another few days of feedback and bug report collecting, we've just published Aquamarine's most substantial update yet with v1.0.3. This latest version includes a number of major bug fixes, changes to some core mechanics, balance tweaks for resources and difficulty, and more. Check out the full list below.
v1.0.3 Patch Notes
- Fixed issues with incorrect text spacing during the tutorial and other pod dialog
- Fixed issues with the wrong text displaying in tutorial messages
- Fixed issues with buttons being usable at wrong times during the tutorial
- Changed long-range engine mechanics: Function can now be used anywhere on the map at any time
- Added a prompt during the tutorial to learn how to repair your pod, also modified repair costs according to difficulty
- Boosted starting energy values for pod's fuel and hull, which vary depending on difficulty
- Pod now automatically recharges hull with gem reserves after reaching zero during player turn
- Recharging your pod after it breaks now also gives you three upgrade charges
- Fixed issues with selecting map locations and confirming travel in the fast travel menu
- Added a hint dialog for a puzzle in the second area
- Fixed an issue with shifting depth in certain sections of the second area
- Fixed a bug causing softlocks while camping
- Fixed issues with certain upgrade animations
- Fixed a bug causing crashes due to game assets missing on some computers
- Intro screen and cutscene now replay when restarting
- Various visual updates & polish

Happy day after release day!
Just want to quickly say how much we appreciate the feedback we've been getting from our players, both on Discord and in the comments. Even the negative reviews! We are here to listen and regularly address your concerns. We appreciate everyone who is continuing to follow our progress, and especially those who are sending their constructive feedback. Now, let's talk bug fixes!
Here's what's in this latest build:
- Fixed a bug allowing players to use the long-range engine while on the water's surface
- Fixed a bug that stopped the pod from breaking the gem during the tutorial
- Fixed a bug that caused a crash when using the Bash upgrade on certain creatures
- Fixed a bug that allowed items on the map to be moved underneath creatures
- Fixed a bug that stopped the pod from using the Bash upgrade on certain creature corpses
- Fixed a bug that allowed the pod to use the Block upgrade in wrong location
- Fixed a bug that caused a softlock during creature's movement
- Fixed a bug allowing you to confirm fast travel even when unavailable

Bug fixes & balancing in v1.0.1
Happy release day everyone!
It's been a crazy, amazing whirlwind of a day for us, and seeing all the excitement and enthusiasm for Aquamarine from our friends & fans has made it so incredible. We've been watching your streams and chatting with you on Discord, so we've caught a few issues that needed fixing.
It's very important to us that we're always listening to our players and making Aquamarine the best it can be. So even in the middle of a hectic release day, we've put together a patch of quick fixes and balance updates for everyone. Check it out:
- Fixed an issue with map spawning causing crashes in the Coral Woods
- Fixed an issue with the pod menu graphic freezing on screen
- Fixed an issue with crashes caused when traveling from the Coral Woods to the island
- Reduced the cost of traveling to the island from certain areas on the map
- Reduced the cost of upgrade modules from 25 & 40 to 20 & 30
- Fixed various small errors & code exceptions
