Hello!
We've released patch 1.03 for BloodRayne: Terminal Cut, which improves the playback of pre-rendered cutscenes, cinematics, and intro logos. If you are still experiencing screen flicker during cutscene playback or any other issues that may be specific to your system after this patch is applied, please send us a support request at support@zigguratinteractive.com. We have more fixes and updates for both Terminal Cut games in the works based on the feedback we’ve received in this forum and elsewhere, and we welcome you to respond in this thread with any other feedback and reports as well.
Best, Alex
We’ve released new patches for BloodRayne: Terminal Cut and BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut to bring each game to version 1.02.
For BloodRayne, the primary purpose of this patch is a fix to D. Mauler’s monologue, which now plays correctly in game.
Some adjustments have been made to improve pre-rendered cutscene playback in this version of BloodRayne as well, but we don't yet see this as a fix for the flickering cutscene issue that still occurs on some system configurations. This issue is still under investigation, though it is taking more time than anticipated to isolate the cause (or causes) and run tests on possible fixes because none of Terminal Reality’s test machines exhibit the problem. We’d like to make it clear we are still making it a priority to find a fix to this and other known issues – thanks for your patience!
We have more fixes and updates for both games in the works based on the feedback we’ve received in this forum and elsewhere, and we welcome you to respond with any other feedback and reports. If you’d like to send specific inquiries on issues you run into which may be specific to your system, we welcome you to contact us at support@zigguratinteractive.com.

With so many players exploring these games on so many different systems, some bugs and issues have been identified that we are working with Terminal Reality to fix. We have released a patch (1.01) for each game that fixes some known issues with the games (specifically, startup crashes that could occur on some system configurations). There are other issues that have been identified which we are also eager to fix, but these will require more time to address properly.
One of the top priorities to address for BloodRayne: Terminal Cut is the flickering that is occurring on some system configurations during playback of pre-rendered cutscenes.
We are grateful for all the user reports on these and other issues that have helped to identify the nature of the problems, and have already forwarded the reports on these issues to the developers at Terminal Reality. This and other key known issues will be investigated by Terminal Reality when they are back from their holiday break, and we expect to address them in a future patch.
We welcome you to respond in the forums any other feedback and reports. If you’d like to send specific inquiries on issues you run into which may be specific to your system, we welcome you to contact us at support@zigguratinteractive.com.
Best, Alex
