- Fixed boss 3 bullets sometimes passed through the walls.

- The Abyss - fixed player can get stuck by entering portal to door corridor for the second time after loading the game.

General Tweaks and Fixes
- Asus Aura - fixed "WASD" buttons stay in movement key color after changing movement bindings to other keys.
- Asus Aura - highlighted keys will now change their color after changing the binding assigned to them, not after pressing the return button.
- Asus Aura - added custom theme color on Boss 5 Arena
- Fixed player character was restarted back to Priest while restarting Endless Mode playing as Journalist.
- Fixed Ammo Generator in some cases spawned extra ammunition even if there was one on the ground.
Update 1.3.6 (June 23rd, 2022)
New Features
- Points spent on the skill tree can now be refunded. Restart points can be earned by defeating bosses!
- New Game Plus is now available! Make your own custom difficulty and choose your starting skills!
- Global Steam Leaderboards have been added for Endless mode!
Enemies
- Abyssal Hunter - fixed the enemy not being aware of the player while behind cover.
Weapons
- Worm Nest - enemy tracking improvements.
- Des Goules and upgrade - reduced beam visibility when aiming at distant objects or into the sky.
Skills
- Decreased cooldowns for most skills.
- Berserk - fixed being able to switch weapons while active by upgrading weapons in the skill tree.
Levels
- Factory - second shortcut elevator is no longer blocked when the game loads.
General Tweaks and Fixes
- Fixed enemies blocking other enemies from getting hurt by explosives.
- Fixed level completion timer sometimes not being accurate.
- Fixed player being able to select two buttons by using mouse and keyboard arrows at the same time.
- Entering the skill tree with the shooting button pressed no longer causes the game to shoot indefinitely until the shooting button is pressed again.
- While using basic weapon sets in level selection, players started with skill points but not with level, now it will start with both.
- Slow mo skill affected liquidators even when not used.
Update 1.2.3 (May 26th, 2022)
New Features
- New auto aim setting that can be accessed in the Gameplay options.
- Player now has a brief death animation before showing the Game Over screen.
- Trying to shoot with a weapon that has no ammo will automatically switch to a different weapon. This can be turned off in the Gameplay options.
- Weapons with no ammo can no longer be selected.
- Each weapon on the Skill Tree has an icon showing what kind of ammunition it uses.
- Level selection now remembers campaign progress even when saves are deleted.
- Hallways and doors where levels end are now marked.
- Added separate autosave and quicksave slots for Priest and Journalist characters.
- Level progress tracker was added to the pause menu.
General Balancing
- Experience requirements are lowered for each new skill point acquired. At the end of the adventure players can now receive 14 points instead of 11 assuming no experience upgrades were taken.
- Adjusted experience upgrades to be more effective.
Enemies
- Ancient Portal - decreased health.
- Entity of Torment - decreased flying speed.
- Boss 4 - fixed occasional game crashes.
- Secret Lab - fixed navigation of some Liquidators.
Weapons
- Worm Nest - explosive worms now steer towards the closest enemy on its path.
- Worm Nest - fixed projectile exploding in situations where it shouldn't like climbing stairs from a sharp angle.
- Worm Nest - fixed projectile getting stuck in level geometry without exploding.
- Worm Nest - shooting and reloading sprites are no longer blurred.
- Thunderonomicon - upgrade no longer increases damage dealt.
- Whale's Bane - fixed weaker projectiles not penetrating enemies.

- Aim sensitivity can now be set to higher values.

- Localization - Polish language adjustments while playing as Journalist.

- Removed decimal numbers in character level progress bar in skill tree.
- Fixed the Continue button in some cases prioritizing autosaves over quicksaves or normal saves even if they were older.
- Fixed enemy health bar not touching the top of the screen then HUD is hidden.

Update 1.0 (7 April 2022)

The day of joyous madness and exquisite suffering has come, for everyone can now step into the fully realized world blessed by the insanity of the Old Ones! Feast your eyes on the brand new trailer and accept our invitation to explore the now complete story of Forgive Me Father - filled with unending hordes of nightmarish enemies for you to unleash your bloodlust upon!
Compared to the Early Access version, the full release brings another playable character (the Journalist), increases the total number of levels from 17 to 25, 3 new bossfights and 3 new Endless mode arenas, a new weapon and 8 new weapon upgrades, new skill upgrades, animated cutscenes showing the full story of the protagonists, and more!
All this could never be achieved without the help of our amazing community, and we would like to thank each and every one of you who played the game in Early Access, and especially those who took the time and shared their feedback by writing a review.
The journey of Forgive Me Father is not over yet - we are here to fix any bugs that may yet be discovered, and make improvements to the game wherever we can. So please, stay awesome and keep that feedback coming in, we really, sincerely, appreciate it.

New Features:
Based on community feedback we added an input buffer for weapon switching that allows the player to queue up a gun switch while animation is still playing. The switch will happen automatically after the animation is finished.
New knife sounds
Bug Fixes and General Tweaks:
- Throwing Knife damage range changed from infinity to 3000 units (around the same as the revolver).
- Fixed bug where players could unpause the game with the story still active by pressing “Tab” twice.
- Fixed enemy patient animations breaking when stunned.
- Fixed skill icons displaying incorrect keyboard keys when changed.
- Added missing WIP button in upgrade tree.
- Fixed UI prompts not responding to custom button bindings at stories and doors.
- Fixed bugs with music doubling and randomly shutting off.
- Rebuilt music behavior on the first three stages.
- Based on community feedback, knives received the following changes:
- All upgraded knives were rebalanced in terms of damage output (Knives were meant to be last resort weapons. Upgraded knives outclassed pistol weapons due to their infinite ammo, especially the throwing variant. Now there should be more of a reason to choose pistols over knives depending on upgrade choices and current situation. Save ammo or kill quicker.)
Slightly increased knife melee range (This increase is relatively minor, but should make non-thrown knives a bit more lenient. It just means you don’t have to hug your foes in order to stab them and you should hit them more often while on the run.)
