Update Instructions:
For GOG & Steam Installations (No Mod Manager):
1. Update Fallout: London in your GOG library
2. Press Play
3. Press Update in the Fallout: London Launcher (Follow the instructions from here)
For Mod Manager Only Installations:
1. Update Fallout: London in your GOG library
2. Press Play
3. Press Update in the Fallout: London Launcher (This is all you have to do if you are simply enabling Fallout London via a mod manager)
4. Alternatively if you have installed Fallout London manually, remove all previous files, zip the new version and reinstall through your mod manager.
Notes:
Due to how the papyrus scripting language stores properties in your save files be aware that some quests act in unexpected ways as many of them have been updated.
What do I do if something funky happens?
- Post your issue with the quest name and stage in the https://discord.com/channels/471697060589207572/1272235866730926200 channel,
- Someone may tell you how to progress it if the worst outcome was to happen.
- The be all and end all fix is to try a new game and save file or try loading a previous save.
- Alternatively there's a good chance it may be fine and you have nothing to worry about.
Major Fixes:
- Unexpected broken LOD clip volumes have now been identified and removed across the board:
- This should fix save corruption/save file issues in Islington world, Dump world, IWM World and St pauls world.
- This requires a rework of the LOD in these worldspace. (Check 3D Section for more information)

Quest Fixes:
- "Lands of the Seraph"
- Made sure the gate before the boat sequence stays open forever after the initial button press
- Fixed issue where the button to open the gate becomes uninteractable if you leave and come back
- Taken precautions to ensure the door in the laboratory opens properly & made sure all of the doors in that cell stay open when they're supposed to
- Can no longer use VATS or use fast travel during the boat sequence, because doing so caused various bugs
- Added a "Bermondsey" map marker at the end of the boat sequence, so you can't fast travel away and then be unable to return
- Made sure the Palace of Westminster Guard stays in place and doesn't get lost behind the gate
- "Fidei Defensor"
- The quest's final objective now actually completes
- "Cold Case"
- During his scene in the quest, Reverand Francis no longer acts like you haven't met him before if you've already accepted his side quest
- Lazarus no longer tries to free himself once pulled into combat, which occasionally broke the quest
- The quest no longer breaks if the player's companion unlocks the cell door
- Quest containers no longer respawn
- "Heavenslayer"
- Made the door to the Bank of England interior locked before the quest, in case the player is somehow able to enter the worldspace beforehand
- The lock state of doors inside the Bank of England no longer respawn
- A couple of lines based on the player's gender now have correct conditions
- Train tunnel gate at end of laboratory now doesn't respawn and stays open after the hand scanner sequence
- The entrance door now stays closed after the hand scanner sequence until the player has gone through the tunnel
- "Lay of the Land"
- Taken precautions to avoid Smythe's Calling Card being moved, it should no longer fall through the floor
- Fixed potentially inaccurate text in a quest objective
- Added precaution to make sure Westminster utility gate stays open
- The player is no longer able to sequence break the quest by killing the Cavaliers before being asked to do so
- "All to Pot"
- That elevator is disabled after using it for the first time
- "Green and Pleasant Land"
- Made the start of the blood trail in the search zone more obvious

- Made sure locked doors don't respawn and stay opened

- Answering the telephone outside the aquarium now kicks you out of all unfinished 5th/Camelot quests

- Fixed broken property that was causing issues if you killed IODS inside the Dredge before the quest
- Made Larry temporarily essential to prevent collateral damage / random unexplained death
- Entering the Dredge through the back door no longer breaks the quest

- Hand in objective now points to either Gaunt or Nelson depending on who speaks first
- "Direct Action"
- Added greeting to starting dialogue in case scene does not start through script
- Added objective to wait for 3 days to return to Gaunt

- Picking up the safehouse location before the objective no longer sequence breaks the quest

- Fixed display error on a Strength SPECIAL check, which was incorrectly labelled as a Charisma check
- Timmy's shoes stuck in chimney now always correctly disable when Timmy is freed

- Increased distance overrides on greeting scene to ensure the quest starts properly when triggered
- Added a condition to one of the bookie's greetings so he only says it when he's meant to
- Bookie now turns hostile after the quest is completed

- Added functionality to make sure Bernard can be found in his caravan during the quest
- Laboratory terminal is now "Inaccessible" before the quest, rather than "Requires Key", because apparently some people were too tempted to cheat
- Fixed issue where player can pick up a holotape early, breaking the quest
- Made triggerbox bigger as a precaution to avoid Archie's scene not starting after leaving the laboratory
- Made sure quest enemies don't respawn after the quest
- A couple of lines based on the player's gender now have correct conditions
- Archie no longer has the Memento in his inventory before he makes it and gives it to the player

- Disabled Sipperson's gin on game start to prevent quest starting early
- Ensured that the player can hand in the Sipperson's gin if they have it

- You can no longer get Richard II before the quest starts
- You can no longer get The Two Gentlemen of Verona before the quest starts
- If you get locked out of the Swan & Mitre, The Two Gentlemen of Verona will be dumped in a toolbox outside
- Prevented quest triggering early by activating the safe in Eastminster
- Added precaution to avoid Wilhelm Kelpe completely ignoring you
- Maggie no longer gives you the key if you refuse to pay her 20 tickets

- Made it so combat only pauses, not ends, scenes in companion quests to avoid quests stalling
- Companions are now actually inspired by the player's Inspirational perk
- All companion now have radiation immunity, as per vanilla companions
- Companions should now go to your settlements now when dismissed
- Conditions on some rumours fixed to not use the GetQuestCompleted condition, which also counted fail states as completions

- Perks/Traits/Afflictions
- Scrapper perk descriptions changed to UK English spellings
- Archie can now properly utilise his Street Urchin perk on master locks
- Sleepwalker trait no longer lets you access the Bank of England worldspace before discovering it
- Puritan trait debuff is now triggered by the use of cigarettes
- Fixed error in description of Sneering Imperialist perk
- Fixed vanilla bug/quirk where the intelligence requirements on ranks 3 and 4 of the Chemist perk were lower than its prerequisites

Fallout: London Version V1.01

How to update:
To update, follow these step:
- Simply update Fallout: London in your GOG library
- Press Play
- Press Update
- Navigate to your Fallout 4 Data folder: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4) - OR - (C:\GOG\Fallout 4 GOTY\Data)
- Double click on "LondonWorldSpace - ClearUp.bat"
(This .bat is a simple script that will automatically delete any files that aren't needed anymore, this is required)
Notes:
- This update focuses on important hot-fixes. Keep in mind that to deliver this update in a timely manner, certain fixes could not be included:
- Primarily for area crashes and random crashes as they require cell edits which necessitate regeneration of Previs and Precombines (Core optimization systems of the game).
- This process takes days to fix the assets and then days to generate and test, be patient on us with this one.
- Fixes are being implemented to improve the stability of the mod, once prepared we'll have another update ready for you.
- Buffout 4 and xSE PluginPreloader are now included with the newest build of Fallout: London:
- Don't panic, if you already have Buffout and xSE it will simply be replaced by the Fallout: London installer.
- We have removed Baka and implemented a fix to use Buffout's memory management uncapping script memory usage (This is built into Buffout 4).
- Alongside this we have added a flag to re-enable achievements so we can test the achievement send events through GOG (No promise that acheivements will work yet but we can get more information on this)
- There has been a few tweaks to the included INI files of the installer to improve stability:
- High settings are now the default and various fixes to some values.
- If you have custom INI's already, for ultrawide support as an example, be sure to back up your current INI files before updating, afterwards you can implement any fixes you need or leave them as they are.
We decided to get key fixes into your hands as soon as possible, so expect more quest and stability fixes very soon. Here's what we've changed:

- "Broken Angel"
- Fixed issue with how the player's health is handled after the train crash, which disproportionately lowered the max HP of characters with already high health or endurance level, when it should have lowered the player's current HP instead.
- Since the early-game balance was accidentally built around this bug, we have made the effects of the "Lab Rat" and "Railway Spine" afflictions more serious (though it will still be slightly easier).
- "Charybdis"
- Added The Ferryman to the PlayerFriendFaction to allow a few accidental hits. The Ferryman and Sushi are also now added to the PlayerAllyFaction during the fight with the leeches.
- The utility entrance now gets locked to "Novice" after speaking with Rachel in the market, this is to make the quest marker point to the main entrance at the beginning of the next quest.
- "Heavenslayer"
- Added quest markers on important keys in the Bank of England.
- Temporary fix for a bug where going through the Angel Station Lab permanently disables ambient music in people's saves.
- You have to reload to before entering the lab for this to work. If you've already triggered it on your save, check the solutions channel on discord. Proper fix coming next update.
