Release Notes for LEGO® Bricktales
Update December 6th, 2022
Improvements:
- Added UI scaling options
- Reworked UI for build mode
- Tutorial improvements
- Bricks can be nudged horizontally with arrow keys on keyboard when selected
- Added achievements button to main menu
- Improved mix of two City music tracks (removed troublesome frequencies)
- Set Vulkan as default graphics API on Linux
- Minor diorama changes that ensure playability when players use the "Help, I'm stuck" teleport feature
- Improved controls for touch devices
Bugfixes:
- Medieval: destroy crates when raising water level in skill cave so players can always complete the destruction achievement
- Caribbean: fixed player getting stuck with hoverboard at the end of a rail (hopefully...)
- Various minor bugfixes
Update October 21st, 2022
- Added button in the options screen that teleports the player to a safe spot in the diorama in case they got stuck.
- City improved stability and performance of fire stairs spot.
- Caribbean reduced friction of water drops for the water collector so they move more fluidly.
- Caribbean reduced minimum amount of water drops needed to finish water collector by 2.
Update October 17th 2022
Bugfixes:
- Fixed Missing footstep sound for walk animation.
- Fixed various brick colliders.
- Fixed issue where rotating a crank wheel to open secret doors could lead to an open door that still couldn't be used.
- Fixed positioning issues where player potentially could get stuck.
- Z-Fighting and mesh clipping fixes.
- Fixed palette focus tutorial being visible in simulation.
- Caribbean near the end fixed issue where player couldn't cross the gangway onto the ship after successfully solving the puzzle.
- City fixed inconsistent lever states when in the substation to restore electricity.
- City fixed rail in underground lab being too near to the wall causing people to get stuck.
Update October 14th 2022
Bugfixes:
- Animal collect quests finished for some players without having all collected:
- "Delete Profile" - "Yes"-Button not pressable with controller
- "Hidden" objects partly visible before finding them :)
- Bricks sometimes falling down when released even if validly connected to another brick above
- Carousel spot seats not valid when placed too high but still within builds bounds
- Minifigure in desert market-stall spot had wrong colliders preventing some bricks from getting placed properly
- Fixed some brick colliders to better match their visuals
- Removed debug line in medieval well-spot
- Restored missing footstep sounds
- Vase in desert market-stall spot could be validly placed in the air
Improvements:
- Various objects repositioned to block the player less while moving around.
- Spoilers for Medieval world: Player-Minifigure could rotate when water-skill animation was already running. Skill was therefore cast into unwanted direction.
