- If you select a dwarf a button is displayed in the interface next to its current action if the dwarf is looking for a path. By clicking this button you can view the destination.
- When the camera is automatically positioned to the location of an event (for example, when clicking on the event icon) it can be returned to its previous position by pressing the Backspace key.
- Vegetables and wheat die in flooding as well as from snow.
- Fixed some crash cases when opening Pandora's Chest.
- Fixed: dwarves could stop working on workbenches of a certain type

Patch 1.9.004 (20 December 2021)
BASE GAME
- Periodically a Pandora's Chest appears in different parts of the world. The opening of which will bring you a lot of pleasant surprises, and vice versa. In the future we plan to add new events "out of the chest" with each update of the game.
- The Chronicle tab has been added to the diary which reflects the most significant events in the life of the settlement. It also contains detailed descriptions of the events that occurred when opening Pandora's Chest.
- New plants have been added that need to be planted in specially prepared field blocks for them. Some of them bear fruit for a long time others need to be harvested independently when they reach maximum growth.
- Added dishes and drinks that can be made from new vegetables. Some vegetables can be eaten fresh. As usual you can find all new recipes in the technology tree.
- New constructions and items have been added: a stone staircase, a barrel with explosives, which has a great striking effect, as well as unique muli-skill items that can be found during the game.
- The New Year's content has been supplemented which falls out of parcels arriving by parachutes.
- Dwarves now ignore the no-pass signs when using the "Come here" spell. The number of dwarfs waiting for trolleys is limited if there are too few trolleys.
- Fixed some crash cases of the game including the destruction of the nest of ants.
- Fixed the behavior of beholders - they could get stuck next to walls.
- Other minor changes and improvements including in the recipes of old items.
DLC
- Fixed: when installing the block a dwarf could immure a werewolf dwarf and he died. Also werewolves could die by climbing into a pond.
- Fixed the drop of magic rings of elves from which you can forge a great ring.

BASE GAME
- Added a new set of armor which is obtained from wooden armor when it is upgraded. It allows with a little effort to raise the defense.
- Added armor for mages which does not provide significant protection but does not decrease movement either. It significantly enhances the magician's skill and provides periodic generation of mana.
- Added metal staff - intermediate between wooden and silver staffs.
- Added wooden boots for the initial set of armor.
- Added runes of ice and fire which can drop from rune doors along with recipes. They can be used to reforge a steel sword and give it new properties.
- Added the most durable mithril shield.
- Added a multi-barreled mithril rifle into the worlds which have sulfur deposits.

- For the Horn spell it is allowed to dig marked blocks in the same radius as the attack of the monsters. This is necessary in order to collect dwarves near a crowd of monsters without destroying the last block between dwarves and monsters. And then without canceling the gathering spell dig a path to them.
- The healing effect of the bandage is increased to 15%.
- Other minor fixes and improvements.
DLC Lonely Mountain
- Changed drops from boxes in accordance with the items drawn on them.
- Sometimes the trolls had too many health hearts.
- Fixed: earth blocks up to lava could not be generated from the edge of the map, so the dragons could fly out to the surface.
- Fixed: dwarfs did not consume the milkshake considering it an elixir.
DLC Heart of Evil
- Fixed the scrolls of the ancient portal falling out of the boss.
- Elf altars in a dark fortress strengthens the defenses of nearby elves. Showing this an effect is displayed near it - shields over their heads.
- Added drop rings of power from elves which enhance different skills. Added a Great Ring to the tech tree which can be forged from several regular ones.
- Added missing recipe descriptions for some items.
- Fixed: sometimes secret recipes were given that could not be crafted.
- Fixed some animations for zombie factories.
Other DLCs
- After a while pets imps could get stuck in one place and stop collecting resources.
- Werewolves killed the sheep in the paddock when they were marked for shearing.

BASE GAME
- Added Large Carnivorous Bush. He appears in place of overgrown 3x3 blocks of common predatory bushes, has a large number of hp and spits at the dwarves caught in the radius of destruction.
- Added a bandage as an inexpensive alternative to the Health Elixir which is available at the initial stage of technology tree. The "Use to the maximum" option has been added to the context menu for using the elixir and bandage to restore the dwarves' health as much as possible.
- Balance Tuning: Leather and Silver Armor have been made lighter to motivate their use on ranged units (archers and mages). Increased the durability of the turret with a flamethrower by 3 times.
- Added option to customize your game "all researched" to start a world with a fully open tech tree.
- The dwarf death icon was displayed 2 times which gave the impression that 2 dwarves died instead of 1.
- Fixed: the existing minecarts were blocking the installation of additional minecars.
- Fixed: some training dummies could not be demolished.
- Fixed: dwarves massively did not want to go to train when pressing the CTRL + T keyboard shortcut.
- Pressing the SHIFT combination with the left mouse button on the dwarf immediately takes it under direct control.

DLC Heart of Evil
- Added a new kind of elves who fight with melee weapons. The rooms of the dark fortress are reinforced with additional guards from new and old elves.
- Many new blocks have been added: rubble of earth and debris, new sets of blocks for fortress rooms, shelves for boxes, heaps of various ores mixed with earth, elements of disassembled zombie factories, bookcases and shelves, pennants and banners of different sizes, stacks of ingots, boards and stones, fortified arches of mines, treasury rooms and other objects and structures.
- Rooms of the dwarves' fortress modified and filled with new items.
- Elves stop repairing factories after defeating the Dark Lord. The mutual shelling of the fortresses stops.
- Dwarf-farmers recaptured from the gargoyles also seek to leave the dark fortress through portals just like the freed captives.
- Drawn a new background for underground sinkholes.
- Improved the AI of the NPC dwarves. Now they do not stop waiting in blocks filled with water. When attacking a player's dwarves nearby NPC dwarves come to the rescue.

- Added a dialog to set priorities for dwarves tasks. In a compact version of the dialogue, the player can choose one of the following options: preparation for the battle - focus on the manufacture of weapons; resource collection - extraction and transfer of collected resources; balanced mode and custom. In the extended dialogue player can change settings for each of the modes in order to customize the behavior of the dwarves at his wish.
- Added the ability to create modifications of the game using a special editor. It allows you to add new blocks, items, weapons and armor, create secret rooms, change the technology tree, etc.
You can activate downloaded mods in the main menu of the game.
- Now in the "sandbox" mode recipes for items fall out in accordance with their presence in the technology tree. The same applies to items that can be crafted knowing the recipe but not yet found it in the game.

- With the celebration of the Lunar New Year added some items which fall out as gifts - festive lanterns, boxes with fireworks, a set of Dragon Warrior's armor and sword.
- Some dwarves skills were extended with new abilities - an experienced fisherman catches more fish and can increase their population in a pond; logger plants trees incl. on desert terrain, replacing sand on the ground; swimmer swims faster, does not sink and can work under water for a while; climber climbs faster and can quickly slides down; miller plants wheat; the hunter lures animals closer to the shelter.
- Blocks next to the lava are gradually charred, ignited and then destroyed depending on the durability of their material and the height above the lava.
- A number which shows the cost of the spell indicates when this value becomes too big.
- Inside the secret rooms the evil gargoyle guards treasures instead of the usual one.
- Imps always deliver the current item to the warehouse before disappearing.
- New beast descriptions have been added to the bestiary.

Patch 1.4.013 (28 December 2017)
- Added constructions for training combat skills of dwarves: dummies for warriors, targets for archers and magical spheres for mages. A dwarf can be sent to practice by clicking on it and selecting the appropriate command in the context menu, also by using the button in the equipment dialog or by pressing CTRL+T for several dwarves at once.
- Inside the abandoned underground rooms are added doors with treasures (level restart is needed), which can only be opened by collecting a certain combination of runes. Doors are additionally guarded by stone gargoyles and giant mechanical golems.
- Added New Year content: themed clothes for zombies and green goblins, Christmas tree, decorations for home and cookies.
- Added improved archers towers, sheathed with iron, they have more protection and damage.
- Added magic transmitters that reduce mana cost when moving away from the main stockpile. For campaign levels has been added a small drain of mana.
- Added 5 new pennants to decorate the house, corresponding to 5 hard-to-receive achievements in single game mode.

Patch 1.4005 (07 April 2017)
- The tech tree becomes partially open more and more from the very beginning of each level in campaign. Deleted some links limiting access to weapon technologies by interior technologies.
- Blocks of secret rooms were completely replaced – now rooms consist from stone blocks of the ancient disappeared race instead of the constructions of dwarves and contain the locked doors to dungeons with crowds of monsters. Graphics of the ancient portal was replaced according to new style of secret rooms.
- New monsters were added to monsters’ waves: a Skeleton Archer, a Zombie Armor-Breaker and a Giant Thrower which can throws small zombies.
- Added many-tier beds which allow you to save space significantly when constructing a shelter on the initial stages of the level.
- Added marks on the mini map for displaying the opening portals with waves of monsters.
- Now displays a cost of a spell near the cursor if it is growing in process of removal from the stockpile (for biomes).

Halloween update
- Dear friends, we are happy to introduce our festive update in honor of Halloween!
Special content will be available during the holiday, a part of which will remain afterwards. All evil beings will behave far more aggressively than usual. But when you become a zombie hunter, you are eligible for special gifts: holiday attire and armor, unusual interior design items, and holiday treats for dwarves. On Halloween, monsters and plants will take on an unusual appearance, and the rest of the environment will look more terrifying.
Aside from the modifications related to the holiday, several additions and
corrections have been introduced to the regular game:
- Many new sounds have been added, including dwarf conversations and laughter, sounds of creatures in the biomes, and sounds for DLC. Sisters in Arms (conversations and laughter of female dwarves, sounds of their pets), etc.
- At the start of a new level in campaign mode, a huge part of the tech tree now becomes initially available to the player with each new planet.
- The rats have become less troublesome, their maximum population size has been reduced, and the interval between their appearances increased. Several errors in their behavior have been fixed.
- When the select game dialog box is opened, the slot with your last game is automatically highlighted.
- Alchemical recipes for collecting coal, iron, silver, gold, and mithril have been simplified.
- Fixed: the main menu language was not changed until the game was relaunched.

Patch 1.3.000 (25 August 2016)
- Models of dwarves were significantly improved, were modified old animations and added new.
- Increased base speed of dwarves. For various armor added parameter – agility, which affect on dwarf’s movement speed.
- Improved dwarves AI. Idle dwarves can take tasks by themselves inside the shelter: patrolling the perimeter, eating food, have a rest, removing bushes, preparing dishes, improving furniture, hunting pests.
- Added dialog with common statistic for each dwarf – how much monsters he destroyed, how many blocks dig etc.
- Added additional slot to the dwarf’s equipment.
- If player sends a dwarf for sleep but shelter’s boundaries have been broken then dwarf notify about this.
- Released ability of mass building/replacing the several blocks. You should select block, then move cursor through the level while holding down the right mouse button.
- Spiders now can create colonies by increasing their population. The more older spider the more dangerously it becomes.
- Inside the shelter with insufficient comfort may arrive the rat’s nest. Rats fill the shelter, eat food from tables, destroy wheat fields and could become dangerous.
- Temporary portals opened with spell can be closed now by player.
- Added lightning and sound of thunder during the heavy rain.
- Dwarves improve mage skill when preparing elixirs. Swimmer skill improves when dwarf get into the water, climber skill improves when dwarf climbs at the wall 5 blocks high.
- Archer’s skill increases speed of shooting.

- Added brand new biome filled by disgusting bugs for cooperative walkthrough and PvP. You gain an unique loot in case of victory.

- Fixed: if the monsters attack block and one of the dwarves attack the same block (but don’t destroy it) the block ceases to break.
- Fixed generation of the biomes chests in the air.
- Fixed several bugs with opening chests at the boost rooms and magic forest spell at the biomes.
- Mithril ingots replaced with mithril ore in the soul keeper recipe.
- Dark lord at the forest biome now can call up zombies. Added colonies of giant ants.
- Other minor fixes and improvements.
