Release Notes for Quilts and Cats of Calico
Build #34 - September 23rd
Patch notes:
- UI now scales correctly on displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
- Incoming Game invitations are now showing up immediately while being in the Online menu.
- Game now correctly notifies you when it's your turn while playing another game at the same time.
Build #25 - September 3rd
New Features:
- UI Scaling - Players can choose user interface scale from 3 presets (small, medium and large) which will impact the size of the Objective window, Cat Editor, Tutorial hints and fonts.
Bug Fixes:
- Text explanation for the "One of each cat" objective is now displayed properly.
- Double clicking the "Play Online" button, which caused various Online problems, is no longer possible.
- Improved credits rendering on low-end machines.
- Players can now undo tiles on gamepad in free play section of the tutorial.
- Players will no longer lose the ability to control their tiles when switching between boards while being in cat interaction mode.
- Cat editor now correctly displays which color is selected in color selection pop-ups and all of the pop-ups have proper names.
- Players entering the game during the game host's first turn will no longer have the possibility to change custom cats while viewing the host's board.
- Undo move feature in story mode will now correctly save through quit and continue.
- Master Quilter Challenge #17 now properly shows all objectives needed to complete the challenge.
- Fixed a minor clipping issue with Summer Solstice clothing.
- New nickname will show in Custom Game creation right after changing it in the Online menu.
- Green button in the credits section no longer disappears.
- Players will be able to join the game via Steam invite even if they didn't configure their profile yet (players will be led to the Profile creation and join the game after that).
Other:
- Cat change option was removed from the Story Mode.
- Cat ears will now hide under various headwear pieces.
- Japanese localization improvement.
- Glyphs for DualShock and DualSense controllers added.
